College Parties
I have tried out many distros in my day. I'll go from the beginning and skip to the end. I started out on linux on an old version of the User-friendly ELX linux running KDE 1.1. I then moved on to slackware for quite awhile. But, as always, the urge to try out new distros surfaced. I ditched slack and went for College Linux. I was a bit skeptical at first. One ISO? Would this have enough files for me to tinker with? The answer is Yes. CL came with more then a dozen window managers, including KDE 3.2, and used XFree 3.0. There was minimal setup on my part to get the periphals working, and I was on the internet in no time. I still use CL to this day, and I do not regret one X session ;) How Is Linux Licensed?
