Knoppix3-4review
I know more about computer hardware than I do about software, this I admit. A while ago, I decided to modify the security settings for my Windows 2000 installation. This was a big mistake. After all, I didn't know what I was doing and I shouldn't have been doing it. I did make it secure, though. Not even I could login, even with the correct login information. So I asked around and was told that I could use Knoppix to get into my ntfs partitions, to back up data and retrieve my password file. That done, I could reformat. I found Knoppix to be relatively easy to use. It gave me no trouble. I will use Knoppix in the future. Not just to rescue files, either. I also found one of the logic puzzles to be entertaining. It was the one that used chemical composition diagrams, you had to move the molecules and bonds to form the correct chemical for that puzzle. -PanzerPsycho How Do I Use Linux with a Cable Modem?
