Mandrake 9.2 by Joste

i have been using Mandrake 9.2 for a while now and once you've set it up it works very well and is easy to set up. A quick trip to easy urpmi and all the software you could possibly need is a few clicks away and dependencies are generally sorted for you, though not ideal if you're on dial up. There does appear to be a problem with the network setup however, I always have to run thwe wizards more than once in order to get ip masquerading working properly. The theme manager doesn't appear to work at all either but it's easy enough to change the look and feel yourself and that way it is more personal. I will be installing it on my Mum's machine once I have upgraded it, as it currently isn't fast enough, (it installed but ran like a dog with no legs) though I might have moved up to 10 by then but I don't have any plans as yet - if it ain't broke....
