Knoppix 3.4 by Naritsu
Knoppix is an awsome OS and it runs off a CD which most other OSs cant even come close too in there wildest dreams. It works great with USB and is much simpler that some other versions of linux in that theres not as much command line and Kernel and some other stuff like that. It runs KDE desktop and only takes about 40 seconds to boot but if you have a slower CD-ROM it might take longer. You can listen to music, watch movies, read and write documents in many different formats, make and watch slide show presentations surf the web, you can pretty much do whatever you want!
