why knoppix rocks

I have been a windows user all my life and have recently decided to try out Knoppix as a test of how well I like the OS. I have used knoppix on bootable pen drives to recover numerous amounts of data from friends hard drives. I think that knoppix is a great choice for somone who wants to get aquainted with linuz but not risk messing somthing up on thier computer.
