Opensolaris

Sun's opensolaris is not another Linux distro, it's the open source version of Sun Solaris, a Unix based operating system, mainly used on Sun's proprietory UltraSPARC 64 bit workstations and servers, but also with a freely (as in beer, not speech) available x86 equivalent. We are now going to be able to bring the power and rocket science behind the commercial Solaris and opensolaris to our beloved Linux desktops.
