Knoppix xxthugstylezxx
Im 18 yrs old and wont have my own pc until i graduate so i figured the best thing to start my *nix exsperience would be to get a bootable distro. Sense downloading knoppix ive been infatuated with *nix and plan to set up a *nix server when i get the money. I havent really had the time to learn to much with it yet because im concentrateing on graduateing first but i fell in love with my first boot-up. I love it all from the tools to the stableity to the browsers! I was just searching around my first boot-up when i found Gaim sense then i decided to download the windows version for my xp machine yet i wasnt as satisfied with the windows version as i was with the *nix version. It's made me want to learn more then ever befor. The sad thing is that a bootable distro of *nix is more stable then any windows ive ever tried and i hope that soon *nix will be every ones primary OS and M$ will be done with or at least fall behind.
